The amphibious Volkswagen Polo.

The polo was destined for the scrapyard but was given another chance. The roof was cut off and welded to the underside to create a flat bottom, the doors were sealed up, and an outboard engine fitted to the back controlled from a steering wheel at the front.

It drew the attention of the media when we sailed in down the river adur to raise money for Brighton based charity ‘Friends first’.
